Just when we thought Excalibur got comfortable they introduced a completely revolutionary new bow.
The Micro 335, is Excalibur’s most narrow recurve to date. Measuring only 22 wide inches while cocked its ultra compact stature is a the complete opposite past recurve stereotypes. In fact Micro is smaller than most compound crossbows as well, all while packing enough punch to bring down any big game in North America.
The Micro also features an all new Featherlite stock for reduced overall weight in the field for quick and easy maneuverability. It also has power stroke of only 9.5 inches, which makes the Micro is easy to cock. Built off the CRT Matrix platform, the Micro is more durable than ever with its all new Gen II CRT Limb system, which improves limb efficiency resulting in unprecedented repeatability in accurate shooting. Here are the specs:
The SPECS: EXCALIBUR Micro 335
SPEED – 335 FPS
WEIGHT – 5.2 LBS
LENGTH – 32.5″
WIDTH (Cocked) – 22″
WIDTH (Uncocked) – 25.5″
DRAW WEIGHT – 270 LBS
POWER STROKE – 9.5″
The Lite Stuff package comes with 18” Quill bolts which perform on par with previous Easton product from Excalibur. Handling the Micro 335 is where it really shines and I couldn’t help but be impressed with the overall feel and balance of the bow.
If your hunting out a blind this bow will be a dream (comes in Tactical Black and Realtree Xtra) and for those long treks into swamp buck country you”ll have no problem maneuvering through that thick brush. The only surprise to most people using this bow will be the 270 pound draw weight. It isn’t a big issue but something to keep in mind for those with physical limitations.
Over all I highly recommend this bow for anyone looking Excalibur quality in a lighter more compact setup.
