Burt Coyote’s Lumenok has been one of innovative tools brought to market in the last decade, giving the hunter a distinct tactical advantage when training, hunting, and tracking his game.
If you haven’t tried them, don’t believe in them or simply don’t know about them, let me introduce you to one of the greatest modern achievements in bow hunting technology.
The Lumenok is an LED light attached to the end of your bolt that allows the arrows flight path to become highly visible in bright daylight or in low light conditions. This increased arrow visibility allows the shooter to clearly see the point of impact and confirm a hit or miss instantly.
In the event of a pass-thru or a miss the lighted nock also allows the hunter to quickly locate the arrow for either recovery or to determine the severity of the hit. In many ways it is almost like the instant replay we all are familiar with in sports. The Lumenok provides detailed information on something that occurs in a split second and because of this gives the hunter a distinct advantage over his prey.
Crossbow Lumenocks come in a variety of nock styles (flat, cresent, capture) and colors. If your purchasing Barnett or Excalibur bolts you will be able to find them package with those bolts already installed.I personally don’t hunt at dusk without them and have found over the years that they can make the difference when tracking and recovery your game. Before changing broadheads, inserts, bolts, fletching over even bows you have to give these a try if you haven’t already. They will change how you hunt and offer you new insight to your arrows performance. I highly recommend these.
